Therapists Qualifications

In Australia & New Zealand, the best resource is the National Lymphoedema Practitioners Register (NLRP) maintained by the Australaisian Lymphology Association. NLRP practitioners undergo extensive lymphoedema training and maintain their expertise through continuous professional development. You can find your nearest registered NLRP therapist via the Find a Practitioner list on the ALA website. We have gathered together some of the lymphoedema methods you may come across & have compared their course requirements, training regime & qualifications so that you can understand the differences in the training of each.
Always look for a registered NLRP therapist when choosing someone to treat your oedema.
